The Buondì was created in 1953 through Angelo Motta's creative genius, who, thanks to his wide long experience in seasonal baked products, was the one who created a small panettone to taste every morning, without raisins or candied fruits. Having breakfast with Buondì became a “national custom” ever since: at cafés, until a few years ago cappuccino and brioche had been simply called cappuccino and Buondì!
Over the years the Classic Buondì have been joined by new variants: the tempting Chocolate Buondì (1970), Apricot Buondì (1982), Fresh Milk Buondì (1999), Cocoa Buondì(2004), and, finally in 2009 the delicious Cherry Buondì...so many variants of taste for a unique and unmistakable excellence. In 2008 the Buondì family expanded by the creation of Biscuits, Panini and the Buondì Minirusks: simple but tempting products for breakfast and snack which are produced with the same care and attention given to the Buondì in order to make them a unique product as well.
